Biography

Andrew Athens was born to Greek parents in Chicago, where he was raised. He grew up during the Depression and a month before Pearl Harbor, he graduated from a junior college and joined the Army. He and his brother later started Metron Steel in 1950. He worked as a humanitarian and philanthropist.
