A set of three slides with white plastic frames. Each slide has an image of a landmark on the island of Corfu. The slides, along with a tag, are encased in a plastic wrapping, which is stapled to the tag. The tag identifies the subject of the slides as "Nauplion-Epidaurus" in "Greece." This set of slides is "set two," and the manufacturer is "Pana-vue." These particular slides are "Superdia Slides," which "fit all 2" x 2" slide viewers and projectors. The first slide is identified as being an image from "In the Theatre," the second is a "View from Palamidi," and the third is "The Peninsula." The words "Made in Belgium" are printed on the back of each frame.

It is unclear when exactly these slides were made, although it may have been sometime in the 1960s. They were manufactured in Belgium. The fact that they are images of Greek landmarks suggests that they may have been purchased in Greece.
The first slide is an image from the ancient city of Epidaurus, while the other two are from the seaport town of Nauplion. Epidaurus was a small ancient Greek city located on the Argolid Peninsula in the Peloponnese. It was renowned for its asclepieion or healing temple. The success of the healing center provided Epidaurus with the money to build other things, including a large outdoor theater. The theater is used again today and is renowned for its excellent acoustics.
Nauplion (Nafplio in Greek) is a seaport town in the Peloponnese. It was an important port during the Middle Ages and served as the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and the Kingdom of Greece from 1821 to 1834. Palamidi is a fortress located on a large hill in Nafplio. It was built by the occupying Venetians between 1711 and 1714. There are over one thousand steps from the town to the top of the fortress.
The peninsula depicted in the third image is part of Nafplio and contains most of the city's old town. The peninsula helps for a naturally protected bay in front of the city.
