Object Description
Certificate of Naturalization for Constantine Theodoropoulos (later Theodore). Naturalization is a voluntary choice to become a U.S. citizen. It is not required of every alien to the U.S. Theodoropoulos became a citizen on March 19, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. He was 27 years old and single at the time of his naturalization. He later married a woman named Erasmia, who became a United States citizen in 1940, sometime after they were married.
