The building to the left is a simple two-story brick building with red advertisement paint on the window and a cut-off sign that reads Cart & Dots Café. The building to the right, next to the cream-colored automobile is a two-story white windowed building with the sign located above the door which reads Grant’s Drug Store Building.

Exterior view of Grant’s Drug Store Building, also known as The Pilaster House in Hannibal, Missouri, in Marion County. The building is a two-story Greek Revival Architecture style building with a pointed roof, balcony, and pilaster columns located at the front of the building. Grant’s Drug Store was built in 1836 and owned by the Grant family. The building served as the temporary home to the famous American writer Mark Twain (1835-1910) and a community drug store. Photograph owned by the Franzese family and connected to other pictures from the same collection labeled as A. D. Argires 1632 Mayfield, San Franciso? B-day party, 1970s car, statue, bridge.
