Origin
This medal was bestowed upon Harry Costopoulos for his service to the Greek military during the Second Balkan War, which took place between June 29, 1913 and August 10, 1913. During the war, the Kingdom of Bulgaria attacked the Kingdoms of Greece and Serbia after being dissatisfied with the results of the First Balkan War, 1912-1913.
