Object Description
This is a photograph of the donor and her two brothers (one brother's name is Ted Anton). The three of them are pictured facing the camera and are wearing costumes which were donated to the National Hellenic Museum. The photograph was taken outdoors at daytime durring the autumn in New Jersey. The brother on the left (Ted Anton) is holding a fake toy gun.

There is a small white border around the photograph and the words "October, 1967" are hand-written across the bottom in black ink.
Origin
Stephanie Vlahakis (former President of the National Hellenic Museum) and her family grew up in New Jersey. Many Greek children were given traditional costumes to wear for family events, special events (such as birthdays) and for ceremonies (both religious and secular).

Stephanie donated this photograph along with a number of pieces of the costumes to the National Hellenic Museum before leaving the museum as President.

It is unclear what type of camera, or the exact day, this photograph was taken on.
