Object Description
A black and white photograph of a bridal Princess Display Case. There are pictures of brides and a sign which reads, "A cedar chest filled with out delicious candy makes an ideal gift for June brides." There are cedar chests places around the case, as well as four pictures of brides. There are flowers and a sign which reads " today-Fresh peach sundae/ today-Cantaloupe nut sundae/ today- Fresh Strawberry sundae." There is writing on the bottom of the picture which reads, "Photo by Geo. Phillos. Bloomington, Illinois. 6-18-24."
Origin
The Phillos confectionary store and Princess Confectionary Store were both owned by Christ Phillos. These stores were located in Bloomington, Il. The pictures were taken by Jeo Phillos in the early 1900s.
