Red and black handmade kilim (flat tapestry-woven carpet or rug) with geometric floral design and purple fringe on the top and the bottom. It has big geometric flowers in the middle, with trapezoids that have a loop on the top and diagonal lines protruding out of their top edges on the sides. The side borders consist of a design made of diamonds.

Kilims are made by a process called flatweaving, usually using the slitweave technique. Arcadia is a region on the Peloponnese peninsula. In mythology, it is home of the god Pan, and was known for its wilderness. The art somewhat resembles the art of the Sarakatsani, due to the geometric designs.
