Object Description
Round copper vessel with a brass handle that has faded zig-zag details on both sides (perhaps a stylized two headed snake) that attach on opposite sides of the container's rim. The surface is engraved with sections of caligraphy a a geometric pattern. The rim has a repeated wave pattern that has been etched on. All of the details on the container seem to have been incised rather than embossed.
Origin
This container was previously own by the donor's (Helen Gravenites) husband's parents. The vessel was handmade although we do not know where or when.
