Yellow and white crochet lace edging. The front part is created by three dimonds; center larger then the flanking two. The dimond is created by multiple crocheted flowers. In between the flowers are yellow crochet dimond shapes. At the bottom of each larger dimond shape is yellow crochet steam like design. Coming off of the two side pieces is a strip of connected white crocheted flowers trimmed with yellow.

Created by Penolope Neokos. She was born in Greece in 1899. In later years she came to the United States with her husband Nickolas, also native to Greece, where they became citizens of Illinois and lived in the city of Chicago. While in Chicago her and her husband lived with her brother along with her two sons (Ernie and John) and their one daughter (Frances).
Handmade by Penolope, this would not have been made to be on its own, this would most likely have been attached to a pillow case or used as a trim to a towel or blanket.
