The donor's father is Theodore Barbatsuly (b.1189 d.1964), his mother is Katina Barbatsuly (b.1897 d. 1984). Theodore got engaged in 1923 and then came to NYC in August to work as a furrier with his brothers. Due to a bad case of asthma, he bought a farm in NY in January 1924. He then returned to Greece and got married. To avoid the Greek army draft, he fled back to US alone. His wife and yaya went to Canada and then the US in October 1925. The donor's parents also took in Greek tourists as boarders in the summer and hunters in the winter. Many times, the children would have to give up their beds for the boarders.
