Object Description
Wood base and cover. Black sewing machine that has gold, red, and green floral design. Model 128 Serial No. G7255981. Manufactured at Clydebank, Scotland in 1937. It has the 'La Vincendora' decals with a grape and vine leaf motif pressed face plate. It has the improved shuttle mechanism with the eject lever.
Origin
Donated by Rose Kundanis on the behalf of the Estate of Bertha (Bessie) Kundanis. Bessie used the sewing machine to make clothing for her family, circa 1917-1937.
