Object Description
Blue and pink infant blanket, hand embroidered. In the center of the blaket is a dimond shaped embroiderment which, on each side, had a stiching of three small flowers with stem coming off of them. Moving out from the center, on the parallel to the stiching are four emroidered triangles with wavy details. Connecting each triangle is a curved stiching in the same floral design as the first. Coming off of the three flowers are emroidered lines which have stiched flowers at the end. On the four sides of the blanket are another four triangles, with ther same wavy pattern. In the four corners there are stiching of flowers, which look like daisys. The whole blanket is edged with lace. The back side of the blanket has a light pink, silky material lining. Few spots of brown staining on the bottom of the front side as well as on the back.
