Chrisanthe became naturalized on June 21, 1940 through the District Court of Chicago, Northern District of Illinois. In the personal description of Chrisanthe the document has her as a 38 year old white female with a fair complexion, brown eyes, black hair. She was 5 feet 4 inches, 115 pounds and a married Greek. She signed her married name certifying that the picture she provided was her. Chrisanthe originally came to the U.S. before 1926 and married an honorably discharged man of the U.S. army. She had a tailor and laundry business. At the time of her naturalization she lived in a house with her husband, Andrew and their son, Andrew, at 515 S. Lockwood Avenue in Chicago. She assured her health and agreed to the laws of the U.S. and was admitted as a citizen. On the back of the certificate there is a warning against engraving counterfeit plates for naturalization certificates. The penalty is less than ten thousand dollars in prison and less than ten thousand dollars.
