Object Description
A large, nearly destroyed document. On one side there is Greek documentation while on the other there is French documentation. The document is covered in stamps and stamped, ink seals in either French or Greek on both the front and the back. In the corner of the document there is a black and white photo of Chrisanthe, she has a serious expression and is in a black dress. The document has a starred desgined border. Both sides are printed with blanks that are filled in with pen by the Foreign minister who also signed at the bottom. The ministers writing is nearly impossible to read.
Origin
A traveling document for Chrisanthe Calas. The document is in Greek on one side and French on the other but both sections say the same thing. At the top it says In the Name of the Governement of of the Republic of Greece. Underneath the document reads (in essence), that "we" require all officers, civil and military... Hellenic Republic and let "us" request friendly countries to let us pass freely. Give way, Ms. Chrisanthe N. Malocopaiki, to.... Without being bother by anyone and lend assistance and protection where necessary. And for this reason we delivered the present, signed by us. The Present is signed by an official of Athens on the 13th of February.

The document describes Chrisanthe as 24 years of age, average height and scribbled something for "eyes" and "nose" but left the "hair" section blank. Under her town and residence they wrote Crete.
