Origin
Marina Metevilis' father, Constantinos Mpalamas came from Stefani, Corinth to the US circa 1906 on the Star Shipline. Stayed in New York. One of eleven children, he learned the shoe repair trade, and went into business. Later he opened up more shops in various Missouri cities, which he turned over to immigrant relatives and friends who arrived later.

This keychain was an advertising tool which he gave to his customers. Note high-topped shoe design on reverse side.
